3-star DL Sua Lefotu decommits from Washington
Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco three-star defensive lineman Sua Lefotu has decommitted from Washington. He was previously committed to the Huskies since June 26.
Lefotu is the No. 1,215 overall prospect and No. 127 defensive lineman in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 109 player in California.

“After much thought and consideration with my family, I have decided to reopen my recruitment process and decommit from The University of Washington,” Lefotu wrote in a statement published to social media. “I’m thankful for the opportunity to play there, but at this time I want to explore other options.”
The 6-foot-4, 285 pound prospect took an official visit to Washington on June 24. He currently holds offers from programs including the Huskies, Arizona, Arizona State and Michigan State. Additionally, Texas A&M got an unofficial visit from Lefotu on Feb. 3.
