Another week, another big-time offer for Olathe (Kan.) South three-star EDGE Jordan Allen.

Allen shared on social media that he’s added an offer from the Washington Huskies.

Allen, who is 6-foot-4 and 240 pounds, said the Washington offer came from Courtney Morgan, the Huskies Director of Player Personnel, and Eric Schmidt, who coaches the EDGE position for UDub.

Washington has made more of a push into the Midwest under new coach Kalen DeBoer. Receivers coach JaMarcus Shephard has a Kansas City-area connection from his time working at the National Center for Drug-Free Sport, and the Huskies have gotten involved with a number of top metro area recruits. This includes coveted defensive end Chandavian Bradley, who named the Huskies as one of his top-10 teams this past Saturday.

Jordan Allen’s stock is red-hot

Since mid-February, Jordan Allen has now picked up offers from Iowa State, Kansas State, Washington, New Mexico State, Kansas and South Dakota. Others, like Missouri and Nebraska, are also showing major interest as his stock continues to blow up.

In fact, Allen was in Columbia, Mo., this past weekend for a junior day visit with the Tigers. While Mizzou has yet to extend an offer, it’s pretty clear the Tigers are showing major interest in Allen.

The visit to Columbia comes a week after he was in Manhattan, Kan., for a trip to K-State. The Wildcats are a team that’s high on his list after the visit.

“First thing, the facilities there are great,” Allen said. “I got to experience some traditions they hold over there. I got to build up a better relationship with the staff.”

Allen is being recruited at K-State primarily by Wildcat assistants Taylor Braet and Buddy Wyatt. Both have done a solid job of building an early bond with Allen.

Up next for Jordan Allen is a visit this upcoming weekend to Iowa State — the first school to offer him.
