Vanderbilt linebacker transfer Ethan Barr commits to Washington

Vanderbilt linebacker transfer Ethan Barr has committed to Washington, he announced on his Twitter account on Saturday afternoon.

Barr was a team captain for the Commodores as a senior in 2023, starting all 12 games. He recorded 55 tackles, 3.0 tackles for a loss, a sack, a forced fumble and a pass defended this season.

During his career, Barr has piled up an impressive 2219 tackles, 7.0 tackles for a loss, 1.0 sacks, a forced fumble, three interceptions and eight passes defended.

Prior to enrolling at Vanderbilt, Barr was a three-star prospect and the No. 1,736 overall recruit in the 2020 recruiting class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.

He was also ranked as the No. 190 linebacker in the class and the No. 229 overall player in the state of Texas, hailing from Flower Mound (TX) Marcus.
