“I chose Washington because the coaching staff was very supportive during the visit,” Chavis said to On3. “They built a relationship with me and they made it feel like home.”
In his own words, what type of player is Washington getting in Casmir Chavis?
“I say I’m a pass first guard that can get downhill and play defense and I can knock down the three.”
He has a message to Husky fans.
“I’m ready to come in and excite the fans and have a great career there.”
Chavis is ranked as the No. 101 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to On3’s Top-150 Player Rankings. He’s also the No. 16 point guard and the No. 3 player in the state of Minnesota.
