The end of June continues to treat Washington well on the recruiting trail, as the Huskies have now landed six commitments across the past 48 hours. Auburn (Wash.) Riverside four-star linebacker Jonathan Epperson is the latest to join the fold, as he announced his commitment on Monday afternoon.

The No. 2 player in Washington, Epperson chose the in-state Huskies while also holding offers from Arizona, Arkansas, Oregon, USC and Penn State, among others.

Epperson is the No. 351 overall prospect in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 37 LB in the nation.

Jedd Fisch and the Huskies continue to bulk up their 2025 class after the final big weekend of summer official visits. Epperson is the third prospect to commit to UW on Monday and is now the third four-star recruit in the class overall.

Huskies piling up West Coast commitments

West Linn (Ore.) three-star tight end Baron Naone was the first to join the Washington class on Monday. Spanaway (Wash.) Lake three-star athlete D’aryhian Clemons pledged not long after, and now Epperson is also in the mix.

The class now contains commitments from 13 prospects. Entering the day outside of the top 40 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings, the Huskies now check in at No. 36 overall and No. 11 in the Big Ten.

San Jose (Calif.) Valley Christian four-star interior offensive lineman Champ Taulealea still headlines the class as a top-300 recruit and top-20 prospect on the interior. Epperson now sits atop the class alongside Taulealea and Tempe (Ariz.) IMG Academy four-star wide receiver Raiden Vines-Bright, a top-300 recruit and top-40 wideout overall.

Fisch and his staff are doing a bulk of their recruiting on the West Coast. Temecula (Calif.) Mater Dei three-star quarterback Dash Beierly and Mililani (Hawaii) three-star QB Treston McMillan are both in the fold, as are the likes of San Juan Capistrano (Calif.) J Serra Catholic three-star IOL Jake Flores and Danville (Calif.) Monta Vista three-star running back Julian McMahan.
