Washington offers DL Deijon Laffitte
Ontario (Calif.) Colony defensive lineman Deijon Laffitte received an offer from Washington on Wednesday afternoon. He announced the news on social media.
A 6-foot-3, 260 pound prospect, Laffitte is not ranked in the 2023 On3 Consensus or the 2023 On300. However, he has received offers from Oregon State, Tennessee, Washington and Utah this week.
Laffitte has recorded nine offers so far in his recruiting process. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, it is a close race between Arizona and Boise State for his commitment. The RPM has the Wildcats leading at 49.5%, while the Broncos aren’t far behind at 43.3%.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.
It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.
