Washington offensive lineman Kahlee Tafai has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal. Tafai spent two seasons at Washington.

“First and foremost I would like to thank God, Coach DeBoer, and Coach Huff for taking a chance on me and for bringing me into this amazing program,” Tafai wrote in his decision announcement. “The things that I’ve accomplished here will be memories for the rest of my life.

“Thank you to Coach Fisch for giving me this opportunity to showcase my talents, and thank you to my teammates and everyone part of the Washington program for the support over these past two years. With that being said, l’ll be entering the transfer portal with 3 years of eligibility left. I’m excited to see what the future holds.”

After beginning this season as a backup, Tafai started the final four games of the regular season for the Huskies. In his true freshman season in 2023, Tafai didn’t see any game action and ultimately redshirted.
