Din-Mbuh is the Cougarsβ first pledge this month. Even though Washington State didnβt receive any commitments in August, the program had a big July on the recruiting trail. Seven recruits chose the program, including Leavitt, Randle, Ruth and El Cerrito (Calif.) three-star cornerback Warren Smith. The others were Midlothian (Texas) three-star running back Deago Benson, Lehi (Utah) three-star EDGE Isaac Terrell and Round Rock (Texas) safety Jalen Gilbert.
The Cougars also landed four commitments in June. Those prospects include Dunham, Colorado Springs (Co.) Vista Ridge three-star wide receiver Brandon Hills, Monrovia (Calif.) three-star wide receiver Carlos Hernandez and Fountain (Co.) Fountain-Fort Carson three-star linebacker Tai Faavae.
