Oxnard (Calif.) Pacifica four-star running back Josh Joyner received an offer from Washington State on Thursday. He announced the news over social media.

Joyner is the No. 276 overall prospect and No. 26 running back in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 23 player in California.

The 5-foot-10, 171-pound tailback holds 10 offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, UNLV has a very close lead for his commitment at 30.8%.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

Washington State currently has no commitments in its 2024 recruiting class. Meanwhile, the Cougars’ 2023 class contains 23 players and ranks No. 60 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings, as well as No. 11 in the Pac-12.

Joyner has an On3 NIL Valuation of $13.2K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
