Fairfield (Ohio) cornerback Josiah Jackson has committed to West Virginia, announcing the news Friday on his social media accounts.

“I’ve always had the dream of playing college football and now hat dream is becoming true with that being said…I am blessed to announce I am committing to West Virginia University,” he said.

He is the fourth commit in the West Virginia class after Duncan (S.C) Spartanburg three-star quarterback Raheim Jeter, York (Pa.) William Penn three-star running back Jahiem White and Duncan (S.C) Spartanburg defensive lineman Cameron Jackson.

Jeter is the highest-ranked verbal in the class at No. 673 overall in the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $12.3k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
