“I felt like I had the best relationship with the coaching staff and players there. I feel like Coach Gard and all the other coaches can make me be the best player that I possibly can be.”
Being a priority recruit for the Badgers made Garlock feel comfortable making this decision.
“I think it was that they contacted me the most and would constantly call and text me to just check up and see what’s new and how I’m doing. I could really tell that they cared and that they believed in me from the start.”
In his own words, what type of player is Wisconsin getting in Will Garlock?
“I would describe my games as a PF/C that can really kind of do it all. I am long and lengthy which helps on the defensive end and have a really rare skill set at my height and the way that I can move where I can play post but also play on the outside and shoot and dribble to get past slower defenders.”
Garlock has a message for UW fans.
“I’m excited to play for the Badgers and will work hard and make you proud! Let’s go Badger fans!”
