4-star LB Mason Posa commits to Wisconsin Badgers
Albuquerque (N.M.) La Cueva four-star linebacker Mason Posa has committed to the Wisconsin Badgers. He chose the Badgers over Oregon and Texas A&M.
The 6-foot-3, 210-pound Posa took an official visit to Wisconsin the weekend of May 31. He also took OVs to Oklahoma State (April 12) and Oregon (June 7).

Posa is the nation’s No. 209 overall prospect, No. 24 linebacker and top recruit from New Mexico in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Wisconsin is off to a fast start in the 2025 recruiting cycle with already nearly 20 commitments in the class. Cincinnati Mt. Healthy four-star cornerback Jaimier Scott leads the way for the Badgers. He’s joined by three additional blue-chippers: Scottsdale (Ariz.) Brophy College Preparatory four-star iOL Logan Powell, Atco (N.J.) Winslow four-star receiver Cameron Miller and Wautoma (Wis.) four-star offensive tackle Michael Roeske.
