Arkansas transfer LB Jaheim Thomas commits to Wisconsin

Former Arkansas and Cincinnati linebacker Jaheim Thomas has announced a commitment to Wisconsin for the 2024 season.

Thomas has produced increasingly better statistical seasons in each year of his collegiate journey, and despite transferring from Cincy to Arkansas, that trend continued in 2023. He totaled 90 tackles to lead the Razorback defense in 2023, also adding a pair of pass deflections and 3.5 sacks. This is a massive portal addition.

In his prior years with the Bearcats of Cincinnati, Thomas recorded 95 total tackles, including 70 of them plus 6.5 for loss in 2022, when he first decided to enter the transfer portal. Now, he’ll enter once again.

Thomas played football at local Princeton High School before college, where he was slotted as a three-star prospect in the 2020 class, per the On3 Industry Rankings. He was also rated No. 442 overall and the No. 9 player from the state of Ohio for his cycle. On3 also has him pegged as a four-star college player in the portal.
