EA Sports ranks Wisconsin's Camp Randall Stadium as No. 7 in Toughest Places to Play rankings
Following a decade-long hiatus a college football video game finally returns this year, with EA Sports College Football 25 officially releasing on July 19. A highly anticipated release that will feature numerous nostalgic features and gameplay options along with some new ones.
One of the newer features is an added emphasis on homefield advantage, presenting challenges to players that play with visiting teams in hostile road environments on the road just like in real-life college football. With EA Sports ranking of the toughest places to play in the College Football 25 and slotting Camp Randall Stadium, home of the Wisconsin Badgers, at No. 7 in the rankings.
EA College Football 25’s ranking of the toughest places to play in College Football 25 factored in historical stats such as home winning percentage, home game attendance, active home winning streaks, team prestige, and more. And given the history and environment of Camp Randall Stadium on Saturdays, there’s no doubt that Badgers rightfully claimed a spot in the top 10.
Camp Randall Stadium is the fourth-oldest stadium in the nation with roots dating back to the Civil War. Officially built in 1913 with the Badgers’ first game being played in November of 1917 against Minnesota in front of a crowd of 10,000. As Camp Randall has a capacity of 76,118 and has seen numerous crowds of over 80,000 fans in the program’s history.

Since 2010, Wisconsin has recorded 76 home wins. Ranking second in the Big Ten only behind Ohio State during that span and sixth in the entire nation. Representing one of the best homefield advantages in college football historically.
Wisconsin was were prominently featured in the official College Football 25 trailer, a game that is going all in on the details and traditions that are unique to each football team’s culture. With iconic mascot Bucky Badger seen in the trailer along with Wisconsin’s players celebrating with Paul Bunyan’s Axe. The legendary trophy awarded to the winner of Wisconsin’s annual rivalry game against Minnesota.
Camp Randall is also known for ‘Jump Around’, voted college football’s best tradition by fans of SportsIllustrated.com. Where between the third and fourth quarters of games fans dance to the House of Pain song as the stadium erupts in a frenzy. A tradition that fans are hoping to see come to life in the College Football 25 in July.
