2023 DL Jamel Howard commits to Wisconsin
Chicago (Ill.) Marist three-star defensive lineman Jamel Howard has committed to Wisconsin.
Howard was previously committed to the Badgers, but opted to decommit this fall after the firing of head coach Paul Chryst. He chose them over offers from Illinois, Iowa State, Nebraska and a handful of other programs.
After his decommitment, a number of programs started showing interest and extending offers, including LSU, Miami, and Michigan. He took an official visit to Ann Arbor this fall, and tripped to both Baton Rouge and Coral Gables this month before ultimately choosing the school he had first committed to back in June.
