On3 4-star TE Rob Booker decommits from Wisconsin Badgers
Waunakee (Wis.) three-star tight end Rob Booker has decommitted from the Wisconsin Badgers. He announced the news on Twitter.
Booker had been committed to the Badgers since Jan. 31.
The 6-foot-6, 210-pounder is the No. 470 overall prospect and No. 30 tight end in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 5 player in Wisconsin.
On3 rates Booker significantly higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. He is No. 262 player in the country, the No. 15 tight end and No. 3 player in Wisconsin.
Booker’s decision comes a few weeks after he took an official visit to Madison. Booker had been recruited by former Wisconsin passing game coordinator Gino Guidugli before Guidugli left the staff to become the new quarterbacks coach at Notre Dame.
Rob Booker currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $30K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
