Trenton (N.J.) Lawrenceville linebacker Samuel Lateju has committed to the Wisconsin Badgers.

Lateju holds Power 4 offers from the likes of Boston College, Duke, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Wake Forest and West Virginia.

Luke Fickell is off to a hot start in the 2025 recruiting class, now sitting at eight commitments and No. 26 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

Franklin (Tenn.) Fred J Page three-star linebacker Brenden Anes and Cincinnati Mount Healthy three-star cornerback Jaimier Scott both added their names to the class in late January — the latest commitments prior to Lateju.

Scott is the No. 416 overall prospect and No. 42 CB in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 13 player in Ohio.

On3 ranks Scott much higher than other recruiting services. He checks in as a four-star recruit, the No. 169 overall prospect, No. 18 corner and No. 8 player in Ohio in the 2025 On300.

Cleveland (Ohio) St. Ignatius three-star safety Cody Haddad committed to the Badgers three days before Scott.

“I would like to thank my family, friends, and coaches for their continued support during this recruiting process,” he wrote on Twitter. “Mainly, I would like to thank God for giving me ability to pursue my dreams. I am very proud to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at the University of Wisconsin.”
