3-star linebacker Tyler Jansey commits to Wisconsin

Batavia (Ill.) linebacker Tyler Jansey has committed to Wisconsin, he announced Friday afternoon on Twitter.
Jansey is the No. 530 prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 51 linebacker and the No. 8 junior prospect in the state of Illinois.
“First, I would like to thank God for giving me the opportunity to be in this position,” Jansey wrote in his announcement. “I would like to thank the coaching staff and the town of Batavia for making me the football player and man I am today. I’d also like to thank Chris Browning at ProForce and anyone else who helped me along the way. Lastly, thank you to all the coaches who have recruited me and spent time on my recruitment. With that being said, I am excited to announce my commitment to the University of Wisconsin! Go Bagders!”
