2025 Three-Star PG Zach Kinziger commits to Wisconsin
Zach Kinziger, a three-star point guard in the class of 2025, will be staying in his home-state for college as he’s committed to the Wisconsin Badgers, he told On3.
The 6-foot-3, 175-pounder out of De Pere (Wis.) High still has two years of high school remaining, but his college choice was a no-brainer.
“Wisconsin has been my dream school ever since I was a little kid,” he said to On3. “Playing at the highest level in my home state in front of 17,000 is hard to beat. I love the coaching staff, the culture, and their tradition of winning. I feel like it is a perfect fit for me and it checks off all the boxes for me when choosing a school.”
Kinziger won’t officially suit up as a Badger until 2025, but that gives him plenty of time to polish his game before his arrival in a couple of years. The rising junior guard had a strong summer playing for Team Herro 16U on the EYBL Circuit, averaging an impressive 17.5 points per outing. Kinziger self-described his game and notes what Wisconsin is getting in him as a player when the time comes.

“I would describe my game as a score-first combo guard but can also dish it out as well,” he says. “I am more of an outside player and seen as a shooter but I think I surprise people with my athleticism and ability to get to the rim. I also pride myself on my defense and my ability to do the little things such as rebounding and being scrappy.”
Kinziger has a message for Wisconsin fans.
“You’re always going to get 100% out of me and I will do anything to help my team win. I am super excited to play in front of such an awesome and passionate fanbase and want to be apart of keeping the winning tradition at Wisconsin alive!”
According to the On3 Industry Rankings, Zach Kinziger is the No. 161 overall prospect in the 2025 cycle. He’s also the No. 25 point guard prospect. The On3 Industry Ranking is a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
