2025 EDGE Nicolas Clayton commits to Wisconsin
Gainesville (Fla.) F.W. Buchholz three-star EDGE Nicolas Clayton has committed to Wisconsin, he announced on Saturday afternoon.
He chose the Badgers over Nebraska, Florida State, UCF and Tulane.
Clayton is the No. 1023 overall prospect and No. 86 EDGE in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 133 player in Florida.
On3 ranks Clayton as the No. 48 EDGE and No. 55 player in the Sunshine State this cycle.
After working through his official visit schedule this month, Clayton becomes commitment No. 10 in June for Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin staff. He was in Madison for an official on June 7 and is now the third player out of Florida to pledge to the Badgers this cycle.
Badgers own top-20 recruiting class this cycle
June continue to treats Wisconsin well on the recruiting trail. The Badgers now have 21 commitments in total this cycle and a class that ranks No. 20 in the nation and No. 7 in the Big Ten, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

Albuquerque (N.M.) La Cueva four-star linebacker Mason Posa is the biggest addition this month, as he committed on June 13 and is the top-ranked player in New Mexico, as well as the No. 209 prospect overall.
Posa is one of five four-star commits in the mix for the Badgers. Cincinnati Mt. Healthy four-star cornerback Jaimier Scott committed back in January and is also a top-250 recruit. Scottsdale (Ariz.) Brophy College Preparatory four-star interior offensive lineman Logan Powell, Atco (N.J.) Winslow four-star wide receiver Cameron Miller and Wautoma (Wisc.) four-star OT Michael Roeske also sit atop the class.
Other additions to the class this month include Tampa Bay Tech three-star corner Rukeem Stroud, Zionsville (Ind.) three-star WR Eugene Hilton Jr., Massillon (Ohio) Washington On3 four-star OT Nolan Davenport, Middleton (Wisc.) three-star defensive lineman Torin Pettaway and Miami Monsignor Pace three-star DL Wilnerson Telemaque.
