Indianapolis Lawrence Central three-star tight end Nizyi Davis has committed to Wisconsin, he announced on Monday.

He chose the Badgers while holding over 10 other Power Four offers, including from the likes of Purdue, Louisville, Kansas, Michigan State and UCF.

Davis is the No. 763 overall prospect and No. 45 TE in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 9 player in Indiana.

Luke Fickell, TEs coach Nate Letton and the Badgers got Davis back to Madison for his official visit on May 31. Relationships helped the Big Ten program lock down the 6-foot-6 pass-catcher.

“I love the city,” Davis told On3’s Steve Wiltfong last month. “They show me their facility and everything I like the way they practice.”

“The relationship,” he added of Letton and the Wisconsin staff. “I feel like they’re real serious about the relationship and they care about me.”

Badgers nearing top-20 recruiting class

With Davis now in the mix, Wisconsin’s 2025 class features 16 total commitments and ranks No. 21 in the nation and No. 6 in the Big Ten, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
