Wisconsin offers 2024 4-star RB Caden Durham

Duncanville (Texas) four-star running back Caden Durham received an offer from Wisconsin on Thursday. He announced the news over social media.

Durham is the No. 271 overall prospect and No. 25 running back in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 42 player in Texas.

The 5-foot-9, 180-pound tailback holds 12 offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Oklahoma has a commanding lead for his commitment at 95.4%.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college. 

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Durham won a state championship at Duncanville this past season. His play in the title game received high praise from On3’s Sam Spiegelman.

“Durham had two touchdowns in the first half and 13 carries and a third score in the fourth quarter,” Spiegelman wrote. “He has outstanding burst.”

Wisconsin currently has two commitments in its 2024 recruiting class. They are The Woodlands (Texas) four-star quarterback Mabrey Mettauer and Hazel Crest (Ill.) Marian Catholic wide receiver Austin Alexander.

Durham has an On3 NIL Valuation of $15.3K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
