Wisconsin running back Tawee Walker plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal. On3’s Pete Nakos was first to report the news.

Walker is coming off a monster junior season for the Badgers. In 2024, Walker logged 190 carries for 864 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also caught 11 passes for 21 yards.

The talented 5-foot-9 running back spent only one year with Wisconsin after transferring in from Oklahoma. While he was productive in his second season with the Sooners, he wasn’t quite as productive as he was with the Badgers.

Walker started his career at Oklahoma after a stint at Palomar Junior College. He arrived at Wisconsin ahead of the 2022 campaign. During that 2022 season, Walker recorded 18 carries for 62 yards, while also catching one pass for seven yards.

He then exploded onto the scene as a junior in 2023, racking up 102 carries for 513 yards and seven touchdowns, to go along with 10 catches for 81 yards. At that point, Tawee Walker transferred to Wisconsin.

Prior to his days in college, Walker was an unrated recruit out of high school. He has done quite well for himself since and will be one of the more coveted options out of the transfer portal this cycle.
