WATCH: Wisconsin star Noah Burks proposes to girlfriend following win

Wisconsin senior Noah Burks left Camp Randall Stadium with a win and a fiancée on Saturday night. Burks and the Badgers moved to 3-3 with the 20-14 win over Army. It happened to set the mood for Burks’ big proposal perfectly.
Burks’ younger brother Logan is a freshman receiver for Army and it was the first time the two brothers went head-to-head. The elder Burks is a super senior, only still on campus due to an extra year of eligibility for COVID-19.
It was a special opportunity for the linebacker to propose with his whole family came in town to watch the game. The Burks family gathered at midfield after the game for pictures. Little did his financée know, the linebacker had acquired the stadium’s video board for a photo slide show leading up to his proposal.
The Carmel, Indiana, native got down on one knee, and his girlfriend, Chandler, said yes.
It’s sweet to punctuate big moments like this with a win but it doesn’t always play out like a movie.

Burks, Wisconsin hold on versus Army
Wisconsin put up one point above their season average to hold on and win versus Army on Saturday. After leading 13-0 at halftime, Wisconsin allowed the Army Black Knights to catch up with two scores in the fourth quarter.
Before proposing to his girlfriend, Noah Burks notched four tackles, all assists, in the win over Army and his younger brother.
The Badgers play at Purdue next week and then host Iowa on Oct. 30. Purdue is coming off an upset win over the Hawkeyes but Wisconsin is still favored at home by three points.
