LSU transfer TE Jackson McGohan commits to Wisconsin
Wisconsin has landed a commitment from a potential impact transfer. Former LSU tight end Jackson McGohan has committed to the Badgers, he announced on Thursday.
McGohan is ranked as the No. 322 overall player in the transfer portal, according to the On3 Industry transfer portal rankings. He is ranked as the No. 21 tight end in the portal.
Jackson McGohan appeared in eight games for the Tigers this past season but did not catch a pass.
He signed with LSU as a three-star recruit in the class of 2023. Coming out of high school he was ranked as the No. 29 tight end and the No. 554 overall player in the country.
Jackson McGohan attended Miamisburg High School in Miamisburg, Ohio. He was named to the All-Southwest Ohio team in both 2021 and 2022. As a senior, he caught 52 passes for 941 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also had an impressive junior season, catching 47 passes for 699 yards and 10 scores.
Wisconsin went 7-5 this season and is set to face LSU in the ReliaQuest Bowl.
