Wisconsin will host Toledo transfer quarterback Dequan Finn on a visit, On3’s Pete Nakos reported Wednesday. Finn spent the past five seasons playing for the Rockets and will have one year of eligibility remaining.

Dequan Finn is a top 10 quarterback in the portal, ranking as the No. 8 player at the position according to On3’s Transfer Portal Rankings. He is a dynamic playmaker with dual-threat ability who helped lead Toledo to an 11-2 record and appearance in the MAC Championship Game this season.

Finn was named the MAC Player of the Year this past season after throwing for 2,657 yards, 22 touchdowns and nine interceptions. He also managed 563 yards rushing and seven scores on the ground. He accounted for 88 total touchdowns across his career at Toledo.

Finn played high school football at Martin Luther King (MI), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 1114 overall recruit in the 2019 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Wisconsin is in search of a new starting quarterback with Tanner Mordecai set to graduate. If all goes well on the visit, it looks like Finn could be the guy.
