Personal Life
KeAndre Lambert-Smith arrived at Penn State as the nation's No. 35 ranked receiver recruit and the fourth-ranked prospect coming out of Virginia in the Class of 2020. After appearing in nine games and starting five games as a true freshman, Lambert-Smith finished sixth in the Big Ten in yards per reception (15.3) in 2021 and played in all 13 games in 2022. He broke out on the national stage against Utah in the Rose Bowl with three catches for 124 yards and an 88-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter. He continued to excel in 2023 and had already put his name in the Penn State record books as the only player in school history with multiple 80-yard touchdown receptions. “I don’t like to seem cocky or anything," Lambert-Smith said after racking up 123 yards against West Virginia in 2023. "But the player I know I am and the standard I hold myself to, it was nothing… I’m grateful for all opportunities that come my way, but that’s just the beginning.” His uncle, Kam Chancellor, played football at Virginia Tech and for seven years with the NFL's Seattle Seahawks.
