Airious “Ace” Bailey is originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, but he moved to McEachern High School in Power Springs, Georgia, ahead of his sophomore season. During his junior season, Bailey did not play in some high-level events, such as USA Basketball, Pangos All-American Camp or the NBAPA Top 100 camp, but those that follow him believe he has great length and “breath-taking athleticism.” Bailey has heard the critics, but he believes in himself. “I can dribble, shoot the ball, my IQ is high, I’m able to make plays off the dribble, catch and shoot,” Bailey told On3’s Jamie Shaw. “I do it all. I like to watch Kevin Durant, Paul George and Jayson Tatum. I’ve modeled my game after guys like them. I know I can have an impact on the game as they have.” Bailey also prides himself on being a leader for his teammates. “I’m always working on building on my leadership ability,” Bailey told GPB Sports. “When I leave McEachern, I want the same foundation that was laid for me for the next players here. It’s all about working on being a leader on and off the court, showing the younger guys how to do things right. Leading by example is what I pride myself on.”

Sharife Cooper's old high school (Mceachern High School) has reloaded on talent and is pushing for another state title as they face off against former state champ Green Forest (GA) in a NAIL BITER! Airious Bailey came into this matchup being rated a 5⭐️ Forward and a top 10 prospect in the class of 2024. At the guard position is Jamichael Davis (2023) who is definitely about to be one of the biggest stock risers of this year as he showed not only his ability to defend on the perimeter but also get to the basket at will

Green Forest is led by both 7-Foot Forwards Gai Chol Atem and Dhiakuei Manyiel Dut! Both have already proven to be college ready as the can not only play in the paint but the also have the ability to get up and down the floor as well as make plays for themselves
