Adam Randall Scouting Summary

Charles Power

11/22/21

The most physically-developed top wide receiver prospect in the 2022 cycle. Has a muscular build at over 6-foot-2 and 217 pounds to go with large hands. A power player who excels after the catch. Runs through arm tackles with regularity. Has clocked a sub 11-second mark in the 100 meters and has good build-up play speed. Shows some route-running prowess, creating separation on double moves. Highly productive as a senior, posting some of the better stats among top wide receiver prospects despite not playing deep into many games. Also doubles as a dangerous short yardage runner with double-digit rushing touchdowns as a senior. A younger prospect for the class who has a reputation as a hard worker.

Adam Randall was not targeted much in the actual Under Armour All-America Game, but impressed during practice. Adam Randall made an impressive touchdown grab in the Touchstone Energy Bowl - a postseason all-star game in the state of South Carolina. The Clemson commit beat the corner off the line and was able to separate on a vertical route before laying out to come down with the ball in the end zone. Randall's Myrtle Beach teammate and Appalachian State commit Ryan Burger threw the pass. On Friday, Randall helped the event staff test out the 40-yard dash timing device to be used at a junior combine and ran a 4.45 second time.

10/29/21

Adam Randall had a huge game on Friday. The Myrtle Beach (S.C.) High standout hauled in 10 catches for a school record 255 yards and five touchdowns in a win over rival North Myrtle Beach. Randall scored in a variety of ways. At 6-foot-3, 217 pounds with a sub-11 second 100 meter time, he is a considerable threat after the catch. Randall showed off the open-field ability on what looked to be a hook-and-ladder play. He kept the ball instead of pitching and broke some arm tackles while racing for a long score. We also saw the four-star prospect separate within his route and win downfield in addition to catching a short touchdown on an out-breaking route.
