Ahmad Nowell is a connecting piece, someone that enhances the play of those around him. He is a tough defender, where he uses his strong frame and long arms to guard on and off the ball. On offense, he moves the ball around unselfishly and knocks down open threes off the catch. His 6-foot-0 frame can cause struggles for him in the paint and he lacks a dynamic blow-by speed on the ball, he knows his game and plays within himself. Nowell has won a lot of games. His high school has won back-to-back state titles and his Team Final team finished Nike’s EYBL Circuit regular season in first place. He has a strong build and he competes.
