As a College Recruit

Nasty and powerful tackle prospect who seeks to finish his opponents on every snap. Strong at the point of attack and plays with tenacity. Does an excellent job of striking defenders first and staying engaged throughout his blocks with his length. Possesses raw power and functional strength. Great density throughout his frame and has a sturdy build. Comes off the ball with solid pad level, plays with a decent understanding of leverage. Foot speed is a bit lacking for left tackle so more of a safe bet at right tackle. More of a smooth mover when working in space than twitched up. Has ideal measurables and play strength to be a force in the run game at the next level. Will need to clean up footwork and waist-bending tendencies in the passing game but should come in time with collegiate coaching. High floor prospect with an early impact in the run game.

Anthony Miles shows upside at Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game

Charles Power

Vanderbilt offensive tackle pledge Anthony Miles was the second-best offensive lineman for the Alabama team over the course of the three practices at the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game, in our opinion. The Birmingham Ramsay product has a projectable frame and high-end length, looking to be around 6-foot-6, 285 pounds. Miles moved well and held his own against a tough defensive line. He looks to have longterm developmental upside.
