LSU Elite Camp 1
Robinson was one of the more polarizing prospects on campus today. He put on a great performance in front of the staff and I think he showed that he is more than capable of playing as a box safety at the Power 5 level. He looked very comfortable in man coverage and was dominant against tight ends and running backs. The concern is still with the top-end speed. The measurables show that he may not be big/long enough to play as a true inside backer, but he also doesn't have the top-end speed to play a middle of the field safety. After the camp today, I have Robinson pegged as a box safety that can fill a specific role around the long speed for a Power 5 team at the next level.
