Ashlyn Watkins

Ashlyn Watkins stayed home by picking her hometown South Carolina Gamecocks. She arrives at the powerhouse program as one of the most heavily recruited prospects in the Class of 2022. She was a Consensus five-star prospect and made a name for herself in middle school when she started dunking the basketball. In fact, she became only the third girl's player to win the JamFest Dunk Contest, along with Candace Parker and Fran Belibi. Watkins led Cardinal Newman to the 2021 SCISA state title while averaging 16.2 points, 11.7 rebounds, 2.8 steals, 2.7 blocks and 2.1 assists per game.
