Personal Life

Ayanna Patterson arrived at UConn as the No. 1 wing recruit and the fourth-best prospect in the Class of 2022. Patterson is originally from Fort Wayne (Indiana) Homestead High School. Patterson was a 2022 McDonald’s Jordan Brand and SLAM All-American. She averaged 25.8 points, 11.8 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game at Homestead High. She was also the 2022 Indiana Miss Basketball. Patterson has also won a gold medal playing for the USA Basketball 2021 3X3 U18 World Cup squad. Patterson has already signed a NIL representation deal with Klutch Sports Group.
