Personal Life

Originally from the Houston area, Baylee Klingler arrived at Washington transferring from Texas A&M before the 2020 season. While at A&M she earned SEC All-Freshman Team honors after starting every game for the Aggies. Klingler went on to have a monster 2021 season for the Huskies, racking up second-team All-America, first-team All-Pac-12 and first-team all-region honors. She was the first Husky since Ali Aguilar with 50 runs and 50 RBI in the same year. As a senior in 2022, Klingler was the Pac-12 Player of the Year and Pac-12 Triple Crown Winner. Klingler was also a first-team All-American and first-team All-Pac-12 pick. Her 24 home runs is the second-most in a single season in program history and were the fourth-most in the NCAA. She returned for the 2023 season, where she earned all-league honors once again. Klingler was also a member of the 2022 USA Softball Women’s National Team. Klingler’s father, Jimmy, was a quarterback at the University of Houston, where her sister, Courtney, also played softball. Her brother, Cory, played football at Rice. Klingler has been active on the NIL front, executing deals with Outback Steakhouse, MaxBat and running her own hitting camp. She is represented by Hal Mumme & Associates. Klingler will return for her super senior season at UDub.
