Bella Hines
Personal Life
Bella Hines considers herself a trailblazer. Through her first three years at Eldorado High School, she became the leading girls basketball scorer in Albuquerque Public Schools history and the school's all-time leading scorer, regardless of gender. And before her senior season, she decided to do something few others have done – leave high school basketball to finish her youth playing career at Albuquerque’s ABC Prep. “She’s one of the top female high school athletes in the country. Her name is nationally recognized,” Hines’ agent, Daveed Cohen, said in early 2024. “We try to be at the forefront of doing things differently. And to be groundbreaking. That’s what we did here with Bella. She handles herself with a calm, collected manner, and that impressed me right away.” Hines accumulated 974 points during her junior season at Eldorado, the third-highest individual single season total – but best among someone in the largest classification – in New Mexico history.
