Brady Allen Scouting Summary

Charles Power

12/01/21

High ceiling, strong-armed passer who has shown continued improvement over his high school career. One of the bigger-framed top quarterbacks in the 2022 cycle, measuring over 6-foot-5 at multiple camps. Has big hands. Throws with an over the top delivery. Generates significant velocity on throws to all levels. Not a major run threat, but shows some twitchy movement patterns in his lower body and has light feet. Had a fantastic senior season, one of the best among his peers. Led his team to a state title, while putting up big passing stats. Showed a few mechanical flaws at camps earlier in his high school career, but looks to have cleaned them up a bit. Not a finished product and will need some development, but has one of the higher passing upsides in the 2022 cycle given his physical tools and arm talent.

Brady Allen capped off a magical senior year with a comeback win in the Indiana’s 3A state title game. Allen and his Fort Branch (Ind.) Gibson Southern team trailed Brebeuf Jesuit 29-14 in the first half, before rallying to a 45-35 victory. Allen finished the game 28 of 50 for 398 yard and five touchdown with three interceptions. He showed off some considerable arm talent. Allen generates velocity with ease on intermediate and downfield throws. The 6-foot-5, 205-pounder also is a light-footed mover within the pocket. Allen is far from a finished product, but the physical upside is among the best in the 2022 cycle.
