As a College Recruit

Dual-threat quarterback who shows off his athleticism and his arm for Ocean Springs (MS) on Friday nights. Good looking build and frame to add mass. Stands in at 6-foot-1, 190 pounds with a 6-foot-3.5 wingspan. Shows off his blistering long speed by splitting gaps in the defense and accelerating through them with ease. Ran an electronically-timed 4.54 40-yard dash and 4.39 shuttle during the spring camp circuit prior to his senior season. Also jumped a 35-inch vertical during this circuit. Twitchy athlete that knows how to read the field due to quarterback play. Physical runner with the ball in his hands. Only knock is not seeing film of him playing defense but has the athletic ability and physical tools to make the move to safety. Pure positional projection but guaranteed physical freak. Talented baseball player as well.

Bray Hubbard works behind center at Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game

Charles Power

Alabama safety commit Bray Hubbard worked at quarterback for the Mississippi team at the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game. Hubbard showed some of his athleticism on a designed run in red zone work on in practice Wednesday afternoon. The 6-foot-1, 190-pounder was a prolific high school quarterback, both as a passer and runner but is projected as a safety at the next level.
