Bryce Baker Scouting Summary
2/04/25Well-rounded quarterback with a physical skill set and production profile that makes him a top 100 prospect in a deep cycle at the position. Does not appear to have an overwhelming trait or skill, but has no discernable weaknesses. Measured in at 6-foot-2.25, 200 pounds with a 10-inch hand at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. Has an easy ¾ throwing motion. Throws with touch, showing the ability to layer the football to all levels. Willing to stand in and deliver while taking a hit. Generates good zip on intermediate throws. Operated with a high level of efficiency and accuracy as a senior. Quality improviser and playmaker when pressured, finding receivers downfield when forced out of the pocket. Shows the ability to deliver well-placed passes on the run. Rushing upside is higher than his output as a senior, as he usually only looked to run while facing top competition. Led his team to a deep playoff run as a senior, completing 74.8% of his passes for 3,520 yards (11.54 yards per attempt) and 40 touchdowns against five interceptions.Rushed for 303 yards and six touchdowns. Has a basketball background and was a double-digit scorer early in his high school career. A driven prospect who works to improve his craft. Very relaxed in the pocket, sometimes seeming perhaps overly static. Older for the class, turning 19 years old in the fall of his senior season.
