Cam Scott

Cam Scott became a well-known name in the basketball world when he started playing varsity in the eighth grade at Lexington (South Carolina) High School. He averaged a team-high 15.6 points and six rebounds as an eighth grader. Then in ninth grade, he averaged team-high 16.9 points and 8.5 rebounds. He earned Class 5A all-state and all-region honors in 2020 and 2021. Scott also participated in the 2021 USA Men's U16 National Team training camp. He averaged 16.3 points during the Chick Fil A Classic during his junior season. “I’ve become more the heart of the team, carrying the leadership role and being the energy for the team,” Scott told On3’s Jamie Shaw. “My vision has taken a big leap, seeing things before they happen on both ends of the floor. We’re looking for a state championship this season; my goal is always to win as much as possible. I’m watching a lot of Luka Doncic right now, the little things with him – how he gets to his spots, his footwork.”
