Chase McCarty

Chase McCarty has a good frame with nice length and positional size. His reputation is as a shooter. He has solid footwork and base with a consistent release off the catch. McCarty is an average athlete. He has a natural basketball IQ, able to process plays with the ball in his hands and understand angles on both ends of the floor. At 6-6, he is a good team defender, using his size and strength to guard down a lineup as well as getting into the passing lanes with anticipation. Would like to see him continuing to develop off the bounce, becoming more of a weapon. Good passer, can line up from multiple levels on the floor. A high floor player, you can trust will develop and grow in your system.
