Personal Life
Christopher Smith played his high school ball at Atlanta Hapeville Charter, where he played with his future teammate and secondary partner William Poole III for three years. He won 2017 Class 2A Defensive Player of the Year and led the school to the state title during his senior year. He then moved to Georgia where he served in a reserve role for his first two and a half years. He entered the starting lineup midway through the 2020 COVID season. He was a key contributor during the 2021 national championship season, including a standout performance against Alabama in the national championship. He had seven tackles, two pass breakups and an interception. Smith is majoring in management. He is the son of Christopher and Shandra Smith.
