As a College Recruit
Big-bodied X-receiver with the size and athletic ability to develop into one of the top receivers in the cycle. Stands in at 6-foot-2 and around 200 pounds with 33.5-inch arms, making him one of the longer receivers in the cycle. A twitchy athlete who consistently stacks defensive backs off the line of scrimmage. Showed the ability to regularly separate from top corners and safeties at the All-American Bowl. Has the length to provide a large catch radius. Speed and strength make him a tough proposition to bring down after the catch. Improved his production as a senior, catching 34 passes for 729 yards and nine touchdowns while also rushing for 317 yards and four more touchdowns. Doubles as an above-the-rim basketball player with the best dunk reel in the 2023 cycle. Raw technically and has a tendency to lose concentration, leading to drops. Younger for the class, turning 18 years-old in June prior to his freshman season. Considerable developmental upside.
Dominates at the catch point and is a complete mismatch on 50-50 balls. Much better suddenness and explosion than you would expect for his size. Tested extremely well on the spring camp circuit prior to his senior season running an electronically-timed 4.39 shuttle, a 7.14 3-cone and jumping nearly a 30-inch vertical and a 10-foot-4 broad jump. Don’t see elite long speed or ability to blow the top off of defenses. Lacks ideal production at the high school level. Has the athletic upside and physical traits to be productive from day one at the college level. Potential top 150 NFL draft pick pending his development in top-end speed.
