As a College Recruit

Bouncy two-way athlete who has considerable developmental upside as a receiver prospect. Measured in at around 6-foot-0.5, 170 pounds prior to his senior season. Has plus length with 33.5-inch arms. Hands measure in at 8.75 inches. Plays on both sides of the ball as a wide receiver and safety for his high school. Originally considered more of an athlete or safety prospect, but has emerged as more of a wide receiver later in his high school career. A bouncy, twitchy mover. Backs that up on the track, posting a 6-foot-3 high jump mark. Has an easy, long stride. Shows the ability to locate and track the football over his shoulder. Displays good play speed. Can lull cornerbacks to sleep on vertical routes. Elevates to come down with high-difficulty grabs. Can contort his body and hang in the air. Improved his offensive production as a senior, catching 42 passes for 930 yards and 13 touchdowns. Will need to develop as a route-runner. Can improve the consistency and strength in his hands.

Courtney Crutchfield at Top Performer at OT7 Finals

Charles Power

Courtney Crutchfield was a consistent performer over the course of the OT7 Finals. The Arkansas pledge could project on either side of the ball at the next level, but primarily worked at wide receiver at this event. Crutchfield backed up a Top Performer showing on Day 1 with an even better effort on Day 2. He was among the most targeted receivers on Friday and found the end zone for three scores. The 6-foot-0.5, 170-pounder is a long, twitchy athlete who can effectively work all portions of the field. He showed the ability to separate from the outside and win vertically. We also saw him give defenses trouble in working over the middle of the field and down the seam. He may not be as technically polished as some other receivers on hand, but the upside and pure talent were readily apparent.
