Dakorien Moore Scouting Summary

Charles Power

7/15/24

Skilled, athletic wide receiver who has separated himself as the top pass-catcher in the 2025 cycle. Possesses an extremely well-rounded skill set. Measured in at 5-foot-10 ⅞, 186 pounds with 31 ⅝-inch arms at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. Has very large hands for his size, at 10.25 inches. A dynamic track athlete, running a scintillating 10.40 second time in the 100 meters along with a long jump over 24 feet. Also tests well in the combine setting. Shows a refined and well-rounded skill set as a receiver both on Friday nights and in the camp setting. Harnesses his great top end speed with change of direction and lateral agility, making for consistent separation. Has the long speed to separate deep and take the top off of defenses. Shifty after the catch and uses his field vision to find open space, sometimes cutting back across the field. Ferocious ball-winner at the catch point, using his bounce and strong hands to consistently come down with jump balls. Plays much bigger than his size and has a large catch radius. Highly productive as a junior, while leading his team to a second straight state title in Texas’ largest classification, catching 69 passes for 1,486 yards (21.5 yards per catch) and 18 touchdowns. Does not have prototypical size as an outside receiver, but has the athleticism and skills to compensate. Looks like an immediate impact player and one with a high long-term ceiling.

Dakorien Moore shows big play ability at OT7 Finals

Charles Power

6/18/23

We’re not sure another receiver had more true splash plays than Dakorien Moore at the OT7 Finals. The Duncanville (Texas) High star made things look extremely easy on all three days of action. Playing on a team and at an event that featured many of the top 2025 wide receiver prospects, Moore looked to have a gear that few others could match. He consistently stacked corners off the line got vertical against 1-on-1 coverage at will. We saw him score on two vertical routes on Sunday. Moore preceded his strong Day 4 showing with several impressive contested catches on Day 2. The metro Dallas prospect may have been the most dangerous big-play threat at the event.

Dakorien Moore shines in Week 1 debut

8/27/22

2025 Duncanville WR Dakorien Moore had a handful of receptions in the Week 1 rivalry game against a talented South Oak Cliff defense headlined by elite 2023 CB Malik Muhammad, who was largely responsible for containing Moore throughout the night. Duncanville utilized a run-heavy attack on offense, but made an effort to get Moore the ball via screens. The elusive pass-catcher made the most of a few receptions, able to make defenders miss with speed to burn.
