Dallas Turner's goal on the field is to impact that game, regardless of whether or not he makes a sack. “It’s all about affecting the quarterback in some type of way,” Turner said. “If it’s a QB hit, you know, even just talking to him or something like that. You know, stuff like that. It all affects the quarterback in some type of way and that’s just our main goal. It’s not always about sacks. You could always affect the game any other way than just getting a sack.” Turner, a former On3 Consensus Five-Star Plus+ recruit and top-10 prospect overall coming out of Fort Lauderdale (Florida) St. Thomas Aquinas High School in the 2021 recruiting class, finished his Alabama career with 22 ½ sacks over three seasons. He was a consensus All-American after the 2023 season. Turner's father, Delon Turner, was a star basketball player at Florida A&M and is in the school's Hall of Fame.
