Dalton Kincaid’s rise to stardom is a story fans at any school can get behind. He played only one year of high school football at Las Vegas Faith Lutheran, where he was an all-state pick. He originally signed with the University of San Diego and played there for two seasons. He led all FCS tight ends in yards per catch in 2019 (18.98), ranking second among FCS tight ends in receiving yards (835) and receiving yards per game (69.6). Those numbers earned FCS All-America honors and put him on the radars of major programs. He transferred to Utah, where he earned honorable mention All-Pac 12 honors after the 2021 season that saw him start 13 games, record 36 receptions for 510 yards and score eight touchdowns. In 2022, he was a first-team all-league pick and also an AP All-American. He led the Utes in receptions (70), receiving yards (890) and receiving touchdowns (8), and he played a key role in Utah’s Pac-12 championship win over USC. His parents are Vicki and Clark Kincaid.
