Davin Cosby is a long-armed wing prospect. At 6-foot-5 his calling card is his shooting. He has a smooth shooting stroke that extends beyond the three-point line. The release point is consistent and he shoots with great balance. Cosby needs to continue developing off the bounce, some initiation ability would enhance his profile as a prospect, it would also help his ability to create his own shot. Right now he is mostly a spot shooter, letting others create opportunities him. Cosby is a very good athlete in straight lines. He can attack a sloppy closeouts off ball rotation and finish above the rim. He has some toughness, is a solid team defender, and a good rebounder from the wing.
