Daylan McCutcheon can play any of the receiver positions, but he loves playing inside because it allows him to create matchup problems with defenders. "I'd like to be seen more of a slot receiver," McCutcheon said. "I can play both inside and outside, but I love playing in the slot. My route running, catching and speed makes me a bigger threat in the slot. It also gives me chances to get matched up against safeties and linebackers. I win those battles." In McCutcheon’s junior season at Lovejoy High School, he racked up 1,430 receiving yards on 94 catches while adding 20 receiving touchdowns and two kickoff return touchdowns.
