As a College Recruit
Del Jones is an aggressive, downhill lead guard. He has long arms with a projectable frame. Defensively, he is able to guard the point of attack; he has quick hands and feet. On the ball, he is a paint-touch lead guard. He has a crafty handle and gets downhill quickly. With his aggression comes inconsistent reads. He is also a streaky shooter, better off the bounce than the catch. He gets to the free-throw line, and there is some good passing in there.

Del Jones touched the paint here. He has long arms with an aggressive downhill type mentality. Low center of gravity. Didn’t see a jump shot. Like to see him develop a pull up, or floater, or middle game. Can be a tough point of attack defender.
